3 boxes of No. 2 pencils (already sharpened)

1 yellow highlighter

4 packs of lined paper

6 composition notebooks

1 box of twelve colored pencils or crayons

1 box of six markers (washable)

1 pencil case with zipper (please no plastic boxes)

2 erasers

1 bottle of glue

1 glue stick

2 boxes of tissue

3 rolls of paper towels

2 boxes of wipes

1 bottle of anti-bacterial gel

1 twelve inch and centimeter ruler

1 pair of safety scissors

1 pack of construction paper

1 pencil sharpener with cover

1 red pen

2 blue plastic folders with pockets

        - Please label one of the folders as follows: Student name

                                                                                 HW/Communication folder

* Composition notebooks will be for the following subjects:

      2 for Language Arts

      1 for Science

      1 for Social Studies

Below you will find the list of books for summer reading.

2. "Clementine", by Pennypacker, Sara

3. "Goldie the Sunshine Fairy", by Look, Lenore

4. "Young Thomas Edison", by Sooling, Michael

STUDENTS MAY CHOOSE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ASSIGNMENTS TO COMPLETE TWO OF THE MENTIONED BOOKS ABOVE: (THE STUDENT HAS THE CHOICE OF ONE ASSIGNMENT FOR BOTH BOOKS OR TWO DIFFERENT ASSIGNMENTS.)

ASSIGNMENT #1 Make several sketches of some of the scenes in the book on a poster board and label them.

ASSIGNMENT #2  Make an illustrated timeline showing events of the story

ASSIGNMENT #3 Construct puppets and present a show of one or more interesting parts of the book or you may retell the story through your puppets.

ASSIGNMENT #4 Make a mobile about the story
